He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth S. Evans; his stepfather Stewart Evans; and his brother Richard Greenblatt. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Greenblatt (Carrington); his children, Dr. Rachel Aghara (Sukesh Aghara), Rishikesh, Devan and Lauren Velten; his grandchild Mikah; and his stepgrandchildren, Axl and Maryssa Velten.
