She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald A. Gibbs and Beatrice E. Gibbs (Finch); her husband Howard J. Odell; her sisters-in-law, Grace Tuthill of Oneonta and Doreen Laing of Bainbridge; and her brother Charles Gibbs.

She is survived by : her children, Lance (Danielle Odell) and Kay Odell (Al Brown); her granddaughter Jordan Odell of Oneonta; her cousin Ronald (Jerri Lynn Gibbs); and her close friends, Pam Marble, Nikki Emmett and Melissa Harrington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
