With sadness, we share the passing of Darlene Pidgeon Lance of Oneonta, New York. Darlene, born on October 18, 1939, passed away on August 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Gill and Catherine Gill (Empie); her former husband Herbert Pidgeon; her husband John Lance; her stepson John Lance, Jr.; her nephew Keith Preston; and her siblings, Harold Gill and Bessie Preston.
She is survived by: her son Brett (Kera Pidgeon); her stepchildren, Tony Lance of Albany and Cheryl Sovan; her nieces, Pamela Preston and Janet Preston; and her nephew Jeff Preston. She is also survived by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and few cousins.
