He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Frank and Uva Uhlig (Orpha); and his wife Carol Hardwick. He is survived by : his children, Michael Uhlig (Janice Coombs), Kathleen Doss of Erwin, NC and Dianne Rock (John); his grandchildren, Cherilyn (Michael), Bradley (Heather), Sierra Hanford (Justin Episale), Russell "Rusty" Rock (Kristian) and Jeanette Rock (Troy); and his great grandchildren, Mikalyn Byrd, Cailey Byrd, Zoe Hosier, Reece Rock, Ashlynn Lewis and Wyatt Rock.
