Linda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Linda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace H. Utter (Goss) and Walter J. Utter; and her stepsister Dorothy Jane (Larry Hubler). She is survived by: her son Brian (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ethan of Garrattsville and Erin of Albany; her daughter Karen (Duane Bostic); her grandson Jackson of Charleston, SC; and her half-brothers, Rodney Whitney and Thomas Whitney (Sue). She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Oneonta Elks Lodge (84 Chestnut St, Oneonta, NY 13820).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Posey Shelter Pet, 1874 Fish Creek Road, Cedartown, GA 30125, where Jim and Linda rescued their beloved dog, Lucky.
