With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy P. Bernier in Oneonta, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucy P. Bernier to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Hamilton Pantaleoni and Hewitt Pantaleoni; and her siblings, Timothy Pantaleoni and Maud Kiwiet-Pantaleoni. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Bernier; her daughters, Genevieve Smith (Steve) and Emily Bernier; her grandchildren, Aurelia Smith and Luciano Smith; her sisters, Mer Boel (Bear) and Alice Pantaleoni (Mark); and her nephew Joshua Kiwiet-Pantaleoni. She is also survived by relatives and dear friends.

It was a joy to see her last year at our college friends' reunion in Oneonta and she was part of our enduring friendships over many years, even as most of us went our separate ways.
