As Marvin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marvin. Though Marvin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sargent and Geraldine Sargent (Brown); his son Christopher; and his siblings, Douglas, Ronald Sargent, Olive Loubier and Jacqueline Fake.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Sargent (Amatuccio) of Oneonta; his sons, Paul Sargent (Sally) of Garrattsville, Joseph Sargent (Dianna Kilts) of Cherry Valley and John Sargent (Tammy) of Norwich; and his brother Lawrence Sargent (Maria). He is also survived by many grand-children, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
