He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick S. "Ted" Jones and Doris Jones; and his friend John Sterchak. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son John (Amanda); his grandchildren, Serenity and Lucas; his brothers, Mark (Verna) and David (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Lyn S. Winston and Larry Stage (Danette); his uncle Russ Olsen (Jayne); and his close friends, Steve Lewis, Terry Semonian and Jack Doyle. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Mid York Concert Band Scholarship Fund, 112 Carter Lane, Norwich, NY 13815, in Mike's memory -Music was his life not his livelihood.
