With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Neil D. Haynes (Oneonta, New York), born in Rome, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Neil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Neil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Haynes; his stepchildren, David, Christina and John; and his grandchildren, Breanna, Taylor, Sean, Wyatt and Calvin.
