With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Eichler (Oneonta, New York), who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Eichler to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Eichler and Marguerite Eichler (Montgomery); and his brothers, Elmer, Robert, Albert and Sonny.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Eichler; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Jill Eichler; his grandchildren, Ali Eichler (Drake Garcia), William (Danielle Craft) and Jeremy Craft; his great grandchildren, Rylieigh Ann and Joel Craft; his siblings, Agnes Lindsley, Ruth Grant and Bruce Eichler; his sister-in-law Marie Eichler; and his cousin Larry Eichler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helios Care, Inc., or the Susquehanna SPCA, organizations that were close to Richard's heart.
