She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sheldon and Edith Sheldon (Bowen); her husband George F. Barkewitz; and her siblings, Charles, George Sheldon and Flora Marlett.

She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Irmabelle Sheldon, Charlotte Barkewitz and Mary Barkewitz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
