Walter leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Walter’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Walter will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jerauld and Mary Jerauld (Hoppe); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Jerauld (Bundy) and Paul Osborne. He is survived by: his siblings, Elaine Reed (Denton), Ellen Osborne (Jerauld), Linn Collins (Jerauld), Ronald Jerauld and Lloyd Jerauld (Judi (Usiatynski)). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, along with the devoted caregivers.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Springbrook's Family Enrichment Center (102 Penthouse Ln, Oneonta, NY 13820).
