With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn M. Pitts (Ontario, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn M. Pitts to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Evelyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Evelyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Pitts and Carrie Pitts; and her siblings, Anthony, John, Frank, George, Genevieve, Rosie and Josephine.

She is survived by: her brother Ernest Pitts of Webster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.

I was in Evelyn's life during her long term care years at both Hillhaven and St. Mary's. She was fiercely independent and courageous. Evelyn loved playing bingo, attending Catholic services and going outdoors. She would ask for hugs and was my Gemini buddy. She has finally met her peace. Miss her already.”
