It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Angeline Scaringe of Orangeburg, New York, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Scaringe; her son Joseph; and her brothers, Frank, Tony and Daniel.
She is survived by: her sister Frances Sasso; her sons, James (Mary), John (Christine) and Jerry; and her granddaughters, Danielle and Gabriella.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pizzi Funeral Home (120 Paris Ave, Northvale, NJ 07647). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine's RC Church (523 Western Hwy S, Blauvelt, NY 10913). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at the St. Anthony's Cemetery (36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Joe Scaringe Memorial Scholarship in care of the Sons of Italy Rockland Lodge 2176, PO Box 223, Blauvelt, NY 10913.
