He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Schlierf; and his siblings, Anna, Edward, Norbert (Arlene) and Alan (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, Diane Fague (Gary), Lynn Jay (late Mark) and James Schlierf; his grandchildren, Douglas Fague, Carol Fague, Sarah DeWald (Paul), Daniel Jay, James Schlierf (Melissa), Jamie Piwowarczyk (Scott) and Andrew Schlierf; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Samantha, Theodore, Leonard and Dominik.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Southtowns Chapel) (3060 Abbott Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
