She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Banak and Anna Banak; and her siblings, Mary Lou, Rosie, Gary and Butch.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Sommer; her son William Bitterman; and her sister Sue (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
