He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertam M. Tormey and Margaret J. Tormey (Mildrum); his wife Judith E. Tormey (Anderson); and his children, Dr. Jennifer E. Tormey and Brett B. Tormey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Randall E. Tormey of Orchard Park, NY, Margaret J. Walton (W. Scott Walton) of Gainesville, VA, Laurel A. Cole (Tormey) of Altamont, NY and Virginia S. Tormey of Katonah, NY; his children, Blair R. Tormey (Nicole Almeida) of Waynesville, NC and Megan A. Tormey (John N. Whitaker) of Alexandria, VA; his grandsons, Liam B. Tormey and Brett S. Whitaker; and his stepgranddaughter Diana E. Almeida.
