It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol S. Thornton (Orchard Park, New York), who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Belurgi and Grace T. Belurgi (Raimondo); and her son Timothy. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara and Frank; her husband William J. Thornton; her children, William (Lynne), John (Raelea), Thomas (Julie), Molly (James) and Eric (Tracy); her grandchildren, James (Ashley), Evan and Iris; and her friend Sicilian.
