He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dell and Frances Dell (Terapacka); and his siblings, Suzanne (late Arthur), Sandra, Richard (late Anita) and Geraldine (late Matthew).

He is survived by: his spouse Fay S. Dell (Blood); his son James C. Dell; his nieces, Arlene Troese (late Henry), Annette Mayers (Richard), Julie Davis (Lawrence) and Geraldine Dell; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Blair.

If so desired, donations may be made in his memory to Hospice Buffalo.
