He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Keane and Catherine Keane; his mother-in-law Gertrude Hoffstetter; his siblings, Nancy Lafferty, Dick (late Mary), Mary Alice O'Neil (late Joe), Billy (late Nancy), Tom (Marion), Connie Smith, Jimmy (Margaret) and Joseph Keane; and his brother-in-law James Hoffstetter.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Hoffstetter); his children, Sheila (Joe Jansen), Bob (Jackie) and Terry Keane (Christen); his grandchildren, Kaylah (Bryan Binaxas), Anna Maze, Jack, Maura Keane and Emma Bertram; his siblings, Sally Trevean (late Jim), Michael (Marie), Catherine, Danny (Betty), Mickey Ray (late Billy), Peter and Maureen Sullivan (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Joe (Sharon), Ollie (Peggy), Jack (Kathy) and Paul (Carol). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
