We announce the death of Daniel T. Vaught of Orchard Park, New York, who passed away on September 22, 2026. Daniel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Daniel will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Daniel will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Daniel’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia Vaught (Gross); his sons, Steven and Douglas Vaught; and his siblings, Timothy E. Vaught and Carol M. Welton (late Charles L.). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home (3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nativity of Our Lord Church (26 Thorn Ave, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
