He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Riga (Crowley); his son Joseph F. Riga (Colleen Maher); his grandson John Borrello; his parents, John Riga and Margherita Riga (Cannito); and his siblings, Peter J. Riga and Victoria Altamura (David Dezell).
He is survived by: his children, John T. Riga (Cathy), Mary M. Bouley (Alain), Francis P. (Mary Ellen) and Jeanne M. Riga; his grandchildren, Anthony Borrello (Kelly), Elise, Paul Bouley, Katherine (J. J.), Michael, Veronica Riga and Hope Riga; and his great grandchild Sophia Borrello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
