He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marcia (Kurczek); his daughter Maria Walker (Patrick); his grandchildren, Morgan Vazquez (Ramon), Conor and Caitlin; and his siblings, Edward Podpora (late Claire), Joanie Wilczewski (late Paul) and Rita Kurnik (late Henry). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home (3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip the Apostle Church (950 Losson Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227).
