With solemn reverence, we commemorate James R. Putnam of Orchard Park, New York, whose life came to an end on December 3, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Putnam and Margaret Putnam (Duffy); and his sibling Thomas Putnam (late John Kranikfelt). He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Putnam (Witkowski); his sons, Matthew Putnam and Michael Putnam (David Arida); his siblings, Mary Murphy and Robert Putnam (Donna); and his brothers-in-law, Paul Murphy and Walter Witkowski (Denise). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James W. Cannan Funeral Home, Inc. (3155 Orchard Park Rd, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (2950 Southwestern Blvd, Orchard Park, NY 14127).
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent the Genesis Center, 2163 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY 14210.
