She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Palczynski; her parents, Walter Szczykutowicz and Jane Szczykutowicz (Balcerak); and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Palczynski (Linda), Nancy E. Heichberger and James B. Palczynski (Shannon); her grandchildren, Christine Hudson (Nick), Eric, Nathan (James Koszuta), Jacob and Lauren (Jonathan Anstett); and her sister Linda Czop.
