He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Augustine and Anthony Augustine; and his sister Mary Jo Fahey. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Midge" Augustine; his children, Louis Augustine (RebeccaTaboni), Joleen Bruenn (Robert) and Jenny Augustine (Ken Crawford); his grandchildren, Louis III, Vivian, Ethan, Ella, Madalyn, Lily, Evan and Sophie; his friend Brendon; and his siblings, Eleanor Goepel, Anthony Augustine (June), Grace Ruberto (Richard), Carmela Thompson (late Gene), Ann Marie Rutherford and Carolyn Chmura.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
