It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian J. Smyth of Orchard Park, New York, who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bitterman and Mary Bitterman; and her siblings, Arlene and William. She is survived by: her husband Joseph D. Smyth; her children, David Smyth (Catherine), Michael Smyth (Sheri) and Susan Balzer (Jack); her grandchildren, Ben, Shannen, Jenna, Joshua, Brittany, Erica, Kristen, Lauren and Elizabeth; and her siblings, Margaret and Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
