He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen Mecca; and his siblings, JoAnn, Loretta Mecca and Charles Mecca (late Joyce). He is survived by: his children, Michael Mecca (Carol) and Michele Mecca; his grandchildren, Sarah, Santino (Brittany), Dominique Breindel (Jacob), Emily and Laura Mecca; his great grandchildren, Anthony and Vincent; and his siblings, Daniel Mecca (late Evelyn), Rosalie Rizzo (late Russell), Mary Jo Madigan (Dennis) and Francine McCarthy (Cole). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home (6575 E Quaker St, Orchard Park, NY 14127). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (1990 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14208).
