He is survived by: his siblings, Sudarshan and Harishchander; his wife Chandra; his siblings, Mohinderpal, Satdev, Chandrakanta and Vijayluxmi; his daughters, Alka Franklin (Matt Franklin), Shilpa Sharma (Manu Amarasinghe) and Deepa Sharma; and his granddaughters, Arya, Zara and Leia.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
