Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Monkelbaan and Dorothy Monkelbaan; and his siblings, Linda Swain (Norman) and Ronald Monkelbaan. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Monkelbaan; his daughter Amy Damasiewicz (Eric); and his grandchildren, Greyson and Peyton. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
