It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Elisha Hill (Ossining, New York), born in Clover, Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine and Richard; his former wife Marian E. Moore Hill; his siblings, Hattie Mosley (Clarence), Mary Ruth Hubbard (Ronald), Christine Flemming, Raynell, Olivia Young (John) and Raleigh Hill; his grandson Kenyon A. Walker; his niece Rhonda Gaston; and his nephews, Ronald Hubbard, Lawrence Hubbard and Curtis Hubbard.
He is survived by: his wife Ophelia McNeil; his daughters, Mary L. Hill, Deborah J. Hill and Dannette S. Hill; and his grandchildren, James Walker (Wanda), Michael Hill, Tawana Hill-Haynes (Mark), Jasmyn Farris (James), Lamar Wilcher and Ebony Wilcher. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
