He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Ryan and Dorothy Ryan (Weeks). He is survived by: his daughter Kiara Picucci (Frank); and his grandchildren, Maiya Aubry and Nico Picucci. He is also survived by many family members and lifelong friends.

“I'm sorry that I did not hear of cousin Dougie's passing until today (5/28/25). I'm happy that I visited him a couple of times at Northwell Hospital; I was able to tell him how affected everyone that knew him in a positive way. We spent many years of our youth together at the Washington Irving Boat Club. Although we were cursory friends as adults due to our distance, we always thought of him fondly, and whenever we met for a family gathering we always enjoyed a great time together. RIP, buddy.”
