Evelyn M. Garrett Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Garrett (Ossining, New York), who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Enersen and Margit Enersen. She is survived by: her husband Edward Garrett; her sister Doris; and her children, Meg Beutel (Bob), Ed (Vera) and Bob (Trina). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home Inc. (14 Emwilton Pl, Ossining, NY 10562). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church (56 Cleveland Dr, Croton-On-Hudson, NY 10520).
