With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Walker of Ossining, New York, who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herleen Walker and Curly Snipes; his son Kenyon Aqui; and his siblings, Allen, Billy, Louise'Sook'Donald and Hazel.
He is survived by: his son James Alexander (Wanda); his grandchildren, Jasmine (David), Jamari, Ja'nae and Kaydence; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah and Elijah; and his siblings, Willie Mae, Helen (Charles), Jerome, Arthur, Sherrie, Diane (Carl) and Wendy (Keith). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church (304 Spring St, Ossining, NY 10562). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
