He was predeceased by : his parents, Francisco Eira and Deolinda Da Eira. He is survived by : his wife Arminda; his daughters, Aida Da Eira and Elizabeth Taveras (Hugo); his grandchildren, Kiara Taveras, Ryan Matos, Justin Taveras and Brianna Matos; and his sisters, Rosa, Alice, Amelia and Aida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
