It is with sadness that the passing of Martha J. Marino DiCesare of Ossining, New York is shared. Martha, born on December 5, 1932, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Martha will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Martha by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Martha is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Martha’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Ballent and John Ballent; her husbands, John Marino and Gennaro DiCesare; her stepson Peter DiCesare; and her grandson Kevin Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Leggio (Carmelo), Carol D'Emidio (Michael), Susan Carrigan (William), John Marino (Patricia) and Jacqueline Nadeau (Richard); and her stepdaughter Susan Carey (Peter). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home (14 Emwilton Pl, Ossining, NY 10562). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine's Church (381 N Highland Ave, Ossining, NY 10562).
