He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Muehlbauer and Shela Muehlbauer (Klusner); his wife Judith; his children, Lisa Orazietti and Matthew Muehlbauer; and his grandchildren, Robert, Alec, Samantha and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dr. Muehlbauer may be made to the American Heart Association.
