She is survived by : her friend Helen Perry; her sisters, Dorothelia Thomas of Delaware, Lula Mae Hargrove of Flushing, Elizabeth Franks, Rebecca Perry of Warrenton, NC, Earnestine Russell-Durham of Oxon Hill, Maryland and Savannah Burnett of Pottstown, Pennsylvania; and her friend Francena Gathers of Mount Vernon, NY.

Rosa then attended the White Rock Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, New York until the COVID-19 pandemic.
