We announce the death of Virginia Jahoda (Ossining, New York), who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Corea and Dominic Corea; her husband Richard; her son Thomas Jahoda; and her siblings, Violet, Jean, Ronald, Louise, Marcia and Janet.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Glynn (Tom), Butch Jahoda (Sherry) and David Jahoda; her daughter-in-law Brenda Jahoda; her grandchildren, Ryan (Christina), Jeffrey (Erica), Kevin (Alicia), Angela (Timothy), Andrew (Amanda), Jennifer (Tom Angell), Megan (Ryan), Kelly and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jordyn, Joseph, Lucas, Adrianna, Frank, Gemma, Theodore, Henry, Millie, Wyatt, Wesley, Jaxson and Asher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home (14 Emwilton Pl, Ossining, NY 10562). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Dorsey Funeral Home Inc. (14 Emwilton Pl, Ossining, NY 10562).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church, 1 Church Street, Ossining NY, 10562, reflecting Virginia's generous spirit and dedication to helping others.
