He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Abbott (Susino); his children, Rebecca Shutts (Christopher), Daniel W. Abbott Jr. and Timothy Abbott (Jill); his granddaughter Kiersten Abbott; and his siblings, Scott Abbott, Thomas Abbott, Sharon Ketchum, Dawn Lindell, Marcia Seymour, Mary Abbott and Geraldine Allen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
