He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn F. Carey and Ethel Burdick Carey; and his sister Linda Carey Gessner. He is survived by: his children, Candice L. Carey of Mexico and Kevin J. Carey of Fulton; and his siblings, Thomas H. Carey of Oswego, Jeffery A Carey of Florida and Cheryl Watson of Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, Inc. (112 E 2nd St, Oswego, NY 13126). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 5:00 PM at 67 E Seneca St, Oswego, NY 13126.
