He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Blum and Beryl Blum Sr. (LeRoy); his wife Arlene Blum (Reynolds); his siblings, Jack Blum, Charles Blum Jr., Bill Blum, Jerry Blum, Betty Roy and Darlene Blum; and his great grandchildren, Stanley D. Blum and Scott Christopher Dennis.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannine Kaminski (Eric), Lisa Gray, Maureen King (Doug), Gary Blum, Lawrence Blum (Cheryl), Christopher Blum (Kathleen), Timothy Blum (Carie) and Michael Blum (Jamie Lyn). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (11 W Albany St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and Shrine (103 W 7th St, Oswego, NY 13126).
