She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whalen Sr. and Mary Madill (Capizzi). She is survived by: her stepfather Bill Madill; her son Shaun Latimer of Oswego, NY; her siblings, Theresa Woolson (Steven) of Oswego, NY, Michelle "Shelli" Kingsley, Michael Whalen (Jackie Gardner) of Oswego, NY and Colleen Whalen (Bill Raymond); the father of her child Rick Latimer of Oswego; and her friend John Lindsley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home (147 W 4th St, Oswego, NY 13126). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (379 E River Rd, Oswego, NY 13126).
