He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Scruton and Shirley Scruton (Perry). He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Barker of Oswego; his son Edward H. Scruton of Oswego; his grandsons, Cyrus E. and Zayden E. Scruton; his siblings, Barbara Russell (Joe), Bonnie McCormack and William Scruton (Audna) of Oswego Town; and his close friends, Chuck, Anne Demm, Lynn Cooper and John Shannon (Knute). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
