It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Chetney of Oswego, New York, who passed away on August 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Chetney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bradford and Frances Bradford (Cortese); her husband Richard Chetney; her close friend Francis Cutro; and her brother Sam Bradford.
She is survived by: her children, James Chetney (Bridget) of Oswego, Lisa Teifke (Donald) of Mexico and Jeffrey Chetney (Helen) of Oswego; and her brother James Bradford of Rochester. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was a member of Zonta, RSVP and the Port City Red Hats.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of CNY.
