We bid farewell to Jane F. Dona of Oswego, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip F. Reitz and Elizabeth J. Reitz (Stacy); her husband Carl E. Dona; her sister Brenda Valley; and her granddaughter Brittany Dona.
She is survived by: her children, Carl P. Dona (Wendy) of Fulton, Brian J. Dona (Tammy) of South Carolina, Heather A. Dona of Norfolk, NY and Amy L. Dona of Norfolk, NY; her grandchildren, Steven Deland, Marisa Doupe (Dona), Elisabeth Dona, Preston Dona and Conor Dona; her great grandchild Peyton Doupe; and her siblings, Sandra Burns of Tullahoma, Debra Reitz of Pulaski and Philip Reitz of Oswego.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (11 W Albany St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Parish and Shrine (103 W 7th St, Oswego, NY 13126).
