He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Wendy Kozlowski (Greg), Shelley (Ahmet Veletanlic), Bruce (Allison) and Brian (Cindy); his grandchildren, Kerri Warner (Rick), Andrea Skilinski (Marc), Kurt William Robert Bessel (Nicole), Brandon Kozlowski (Arlene), Shana Craycraft (Billy), Reece and Megan Bessel; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Lucas, Garrett, Madeline, Bohen, Cassidy, Skye, Gabriele, Charlee Ann, Edwin and Alexis; and also Pamela.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (11 W Albany St, Oswego, NY 13126). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to Palermo Fire and Rescue of Palermo New York or the Kurt F. Bessel Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Mexico Academy and Central School in Mexico New York.
