She was predeceased by : her parents, Laurence Forbes and Agnes Forbes (MacDonald); her sister Lynn Forbes; and her brother-in-law James LeRoy (Garry). She is survived by : her son Michael Schafer (Jennifer) of Florida; her siblings, Ann LeRoy of Scriba and Laurence Forbes Jr. (Marilyn) of Florida; and her granddaughters, Tara and Isabella. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Covenant Church (1124 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14609).
