He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Smith and Gloria Smith (Layboult). He is survived by: his wife Irene Smith; his children, Alicia, Jeremy, Joshua, Martin Jr., Samantha, Collin, Cory, Erin, Jeffery, Kyle and Heather; and his siblings, Judy, Debbie, Sue, Shelly and Kevin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
