He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Conaway and Jane Ferris Conaway; his siblings, Jane Jakelsky (Edward) and Thomas Conaway (Lorraine); and his nephews, Stanley Helvie and Owen Schwartz.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Van Brocklin); his children, Pat Conaway (Rui), Casey Conaway-Towne and Erik Van Brocklin (Cayla); his grandchildren, Tyler, Aiden, Brandy, Allison, Maks, Elowyn and Juniper; and his siblings, Bridget Williams (Steve) of Columbus, Frank Conaway (Sue) of Oswego, Kathleen Wallace (Don) of Spring Valley, Arizona and Colleen Helvie (Ralph Rota) of New Haven. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
